Shannon Steen, the EDHS Dance Team Coach since 2016, is a former Los Angeles Laker Girl and currently the choreographer of the Nickelodeon children's show Mutt and Stuff. She is also the choreographer for the children's television series and touring stage shows for Yo Gabba Gabba.  She has been performing and choreographing for over 27 years and has several film/TV credits. She also teaches dance technique to several Orange County high schools and studios, and her students and choreography have received numerous awards at studio and high school competitions both regionally and nationally.  She also was recently named Coach of the Year from the California Association of Dance/Drill Team Directors.  She holds a degree in Business Management/HR from Cal State Fullerton.
